The 12 monday.com formulas you actually need

Working formulas for date differences, business days, conditional totals and text cleanup, with the syntax gotchas that cost me hours.

monday.com’s formula column is more capable than its documentation suggests, and more fragile in specific ways that are not obvious until you hit them.

This is the reference I keep open. Every formula here is one I use on live client boards, including the ones for aging, business-day calculations and conditional sums.

It also covers the two limits worth knowing before you design around formulas: they do not trigger automations, and they behave inconsistently in some dashboard widgets.
